๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ TIPS FOR SHOWING YOUR HOME….WITH PETS ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

1. Have A Plan. Create a plan for when you have a showing. It’s a good idea to have a designated spot or plan in place for your pet(s) during a showing. Consider taking them for a walk, look into boarding, ask a neighbor or friend to pet sit.

2. Replace The Carpet. If You can, replacing carpet when you know there have been pet accidents is a great idea. You can always spot treat, but replacing the carpets can give a fresh start to a space.

3. Pick up all the dog poop in the yard. It’s safe to say we all know why not to leave the dog poop in the yard (haha!)

4. Put away all pet supplies. As hard as it may be for us pet parents, not everyone loves dogs and/or cats. It’s important to keep your buyer in mind during the showings.

5. Leave no scent. Consider giving your home a deep clean, grab scent absorbers from amazon to hide around and open up some windows before a showing to try and get rid of any pet scents. You could also use Febreze, Light a candle or Diffuse pet-safe essential oils. Remember, too much fragrance could bother some buyers. So, try your best to not mask the pet odors – try to get rid of them!
